My husband Chuck and I decided to build a new home at Belfair. Given that the new home was supposed to be completed by the Fall of 2020, we had to select a realtor to sell our existing home at 45 Newberry Court. The decision was a pretty easy one as we had many friends who highly recommended that we use Diana Sroufe. Diana lives at Belfair and knows the real estate market inside and out. She recommended that we put the house on the market in the first quarter of 2020, about 6 months prior to completion of the new home. From the start, Diana worked tirelessly to help us prepare our home for sale and we had quite a bit of interest early on, including a few offers, none of which panned out. Then Covid hit and put an abrupt halt to the all-important spring selling season. I called Sara about a year ago regarding one of her listings. After renting a winter getaway home in the low country for six years, we decided to take the plunge and purchase a vacation home. We started our search on the internet, and the very first listing we liked happened to be listed by Rich Reed with Charter One Realty. She gave me more than an hour of her time and said to me, ‘Keep in touch, and I’ll show you all the different neighborhoods once you and your husband come down for a visit.’ She was so professional and kind that I knew I had found the perfect Realtor. After we came to visit, Sara spent so much time organizing house showings and helped us realize something we didn’t even know about ourselves, that a 55+ neighborhood was the perfect fit for us. After viewing The Haven and Four Seasons, both of which had so much to offer, we were incredibly excited about the possibility of calling one of them home. After much consideration, we chose a new build in Four Seasons. Sara was there every step of the way. Since we lived out of state, she would check on the progress and send us pictures and videos.
