Phil Porter is a hands-on, dedicated real estate professional specializing in the Hilton Head Island/Bluffton Lowcountry. At the beginning of 2017, Phil teamed with Brad Wilson to form the Wilson - Porter Team. They have over 64 years of real estate experience and know the Hilton Head Island area inside and out. Phil and Brad are members of the National Association of REALTORS as well as the local Hilton Head Island Area Association of REALTORS. They also maintain membership in the Hilton Head Island Multiple Listing Association. Raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, Phil attended NC State University and graduated in 1977 with a degree in Speech Communications. He entered the newspaper business in Raleigh and quickly was promoted to Advertising Director of the local Hilton Head Island newspaper, The Island Packet. With a desire to help people find their own piece of island paradise, Phil began his real estate career in 1999 with Charter One Realty, and Brad began in 1981. Both went through more rigorous training than most agents to earn their Broker’s licenses. Phil also holds the Accredited Buyer’s Representative designation and completed extensive studies to become a member of the Graduate Realtor Institute….all to better serve his and Brad's real estate clients. Phil married Kathryn Capici Porter, of Greenwood, South Carolina in 1981. They have two grown children, Anthony (and daughter Ansley), and Anna of Hilton Head Island. Phil and Kathy are members of First Presbyterian Church of Hilton Head Island and participate in several organizations on the island.
