The Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra’s Youth Concerto Competition will be held on.  Ten instrumentalists from throughout the Southeastern United States have been selected from a field of forty-eight applicants.

Hilton Head Island Marathon, Half & 5K

The Hilton Head Island Marathon & Half Marathon features a scenic certified course that takes participants thru two parks and over the Broad Creek.  The course is fast and flat with a slight incline at the bridge over the Broad Creek, which is about a one-mile span and is done twice. The event also features a 5K. HH Marathon is a Boston qualifier course.

Hilton Head Preparatory School’s 50th Anniversary Jubilee Celebration

Hilton Head Prep's Joseph B. Fraser, Jr. Field House will be transformed into a magical, golden ballroom. The Dueling Piano pair Hudson and Saleeby, who have been entertaining audiences throughout the country for over twenty years with their outstanding vocals, and spontaneous, entertaining presentation, will wow Jubilee guests. A delicious three course dinner will be prepared and served by the South Carolina Yacht Club. A live and silent auction will raise funds in support of student scholarships and faculty development.

The Hilton Head Food and Wine Festival began 31 years ago as a humble 3-hour wine tasting event. It is now one of South Carolina’s most prestigious destinations for wine enthusiasts around the world, judging over 850 wines this year alone. This success has extended the festival’s ability to make a difference in the food and wine community. Hilton Head Food and Wine Festival’s non-profit branch is dedicated to assisting students in their educational needs, having donated over $30,000 in scholarships since 2013.
