“Escape Artists” with Art Beyond Tradition Artists

The Coastal Discovery Museum presents “Escape Artists” with the Art Beyond Tradition group. On display will be a range of art work showcasing 12 artists and their ability to use paint, collage, mixed media, ink and sculpture in their work. The gallery is open Monday through Saturday from 9 am until 4:30 pm and Sunday from 11 am until 3 pm. Admission is free.

Fall Music & Taste on the Harbour

Join in the fun every Thursday night at Shelter Cove Harbour! This exciting seasonal event starts September 7th  at Neptune Statue, combining the best local bands with delicious food and drinks. The fall outdoor concert series will kick-off with The Headliners and will feature a variety of bands on Thursday nights throughout the fall. Specially-priced appetizers, wine, beer and cocktails will be set up around the harbour.

The 35th annual Evening of the Arts will be held at the Colleton River Club. This event supports the Island School Council for the Arts which has funded over $2 Million to support local arts programs in our schools.

Inflatable Fall Fun Run

Kiwanis Clubs of Hilton Head Island Chili Cookoff

The Kiwanis Clubs of Hilton Head Island will host the 33rd Annual Chili Cookoff at Shelter Cove Community Park. 25 to 30 restaurants and amateurs are expected to compete in several categories. In addition to the food, local band Cranford Hollow will provide live entertainment. The proceeds from the event benefit The Children’s Center, The Coastal Discovery Museum, and Operation R& R to name a few.

Hilton Head Island Italian Heritage Festival

Hosted by the Italian-American Club of Hilton Head (IACHH), the Italian Heritage Festival features live musical entertainment, a bocce court, grape-stomping contest, silent auction, raffles, a dunk-tank, a Kid’s Zone (with lots of inflatable fun) and much more! Some of the Lowcountry’s best Italian restaurants will cook their own specialties, while vendors sell Italian-inspired wares and handmade arts and crafts. Proceeds benefit only local charities and scholarship funds.

Yacht Hop at Harbour Town Yacht Basin

It’s the 13th Annual Yacht Hop at Harbour Town Yacht Basin on Sunday, Sept. 17, from 5:30-9 p.m. Board stunning yachts, while enjoying wine and hors d’oeuvres freshly prepared by some of the area’s premier chefs. Entertainment is provided by The Headliners, and the evening closes with dessert and a champagne toast. All proceeds benefit patient care programs at Hospice Care of the Lowcountry.
