Alec Smith is absolutely amazing to deal with and should be your only choice for Lowcountry real estate. I worked with him for almost two years before we finally found a property and he was never impatient or pushy. My wife and I made the decision to move across the country from Arizona to Bluffton I the Spring of 2019. Having a child still in high school made the window for this move quite small. In my experience, agents representing the home seller often have to wear many hats but most of all have to be connected to the market – Drew Butler is certainly connected to Indigo Run. We hired Drew, and he earned every cent of his commission – and then some. I was selling my mother’s house long distance on her behalf. It had a couple of challenges that required many showings to get a handful of offers. The first contract fell through. My mother unexpectedly passed away after the second contract was signed, but before the closing, leaving the deal in limbo. Drew proactively put me in touch with an excellent estate attorney to help keep the transaction on track, and a versatile handyman to make necessary repairs. He arranged for the removal of furniture that no one would take. He was in constant communication – all the while displaying a highly polished personality and incessant wit.
