David Hussey works with The Cobb Group of Charter One Realty which includes his wife Allison Cobb and his father-in-law George Cobb. He has extensive experience in food and beverage management. Most recently he worked at the Sonesta Hilton Head Resort formerly the Crowne Plaza in Shipyard Plantation. Prior to living in the Lowcountry David worked in Chicago at The Signature Room Restaurant on the 95th floor of the John Hancock Building, serving in various management capacities. Client satisfaction is something David has always strived for while working in the restaurant and hotel business. He continues to use these same skills in working with homebuyers and sellers. He understands the real estate process and is creative in the way he thinks about selling. He has a broad understanding of the Hilton Head Island neighborhoods and characteristics as well as a grounded knowledge about Bluffton. David moved to Hilton Head Island in 2006 with his family. Relocating to the Lowcountry was a “no-brainer” as his family lived around the corner from Wrigley Field in Chicago and the fast pace of city life was taking a toll on them, not to mention the chilly winters. As well, his wife’s grandmother and parents already lived on Hilton Head Island. In fact, his wife’s grandmother moved to Sea Pines Resort in the early 1970s. Thus, he had spent many vacations on the Island and was very comfortable with the lifestyle. This past summer David and his family moved from The Crescent in Bluffton, South Carolina to Moss Creek Plantation and they have enjoyed renovating the new family home. Moss Creek is a neighborhood that David and his family have wanted to move to and were excited when the perfect home came along that had all the elements needed to accommodate their busy family. With a seven and a six year old, two dogs and two cats it is “go, go, go” at the Hussey home.
