Jeff Ussery

Born and raised on Hilton Head Island, Jeff has a deep-rooted passion for the Lowcountry lifestyle and the community he proudly calls home. A graduate of Heritage Academy, he went on to earn a baseball scholarship to Georgia Tech, where he completed a business degree with a concentration in marketing while earning recognition on both the Dean’s List and the ACC Honor Roll.

Baseball played a formative role in Jeff’s life, opening doors well beyond the field. His career took him across the country and abroad, competing in Cape Cod, Green Bay, the Hamptons, and Puerto Rico—experiences that shaped his work ethic, discipline, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

While living in Atlanta, Jeff met his wife, Margaret, a former captain of the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders. Today, they are raising their four young children in the Lowcountry, embracing an active coastal lifestyle filled with sandbar days, fishing, crabbing, and youth sports that keep the family constantly on the move.

Before transitioning into real estate, Jeff spent over a decade in the medical device industry with Arthrex, where he managed a top-performing team for the orthopedic device manufacturer. Known for his people-first approach, Jeff consistently delivered results for surgeons, hospital administrators, and patients alike—an experience that sharpened his negotiation skills, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional service.

Returning home to raise his family among the live oaks, rivers, and beaches of his childhood has been a dream realized. Jeff is equally grateful for the opportunity to work alongside his father, Johnny, one of the most respected and accomplished NAR members in the region with more than 40 years of experience.

Today, Jeff is recognized as one of the area’s top real estate professionals. He is proud to continue building the Ussery Group’s legacy by combining local insight, strategic marketing, and a client-first mindset to help buyers and sellers achieve exceptional results.
