The 23rd VanLandingham Rotary Auction will be held this February 26th, from noon until 3:00 pm. It is a televised internet auction where you can also call into the site and make your bid on nearly 400 items that have been gathered from the Hilton Head Island and Bluffton area. Proceeds will benefit The Sandbox and The First Tee program at the Boys and Girls Club.

The Sandbox is a children’s museum on Pope Avenue that offers interactive educational opportunities to children with their parents. The Sandbox is scheduled to move to a new complex on Coligny Circle once the building is complete in 2018.

Americans are on the move and according to United Van Lines’ 39th Annual National Movers Study, South Carolina is one of the most popular relocation states. It comes as no surprise! With mild year-round temperatures, Hilton Head Island and Bluffton are the perfect coastal towns. Plus, direct flights to Savannah International Airport make getting to and from the Lowcountry a breeze. Much of the inbound activity to Hilton Head Island and the surrounding Mainland seems to be Northeastern Boomers in search of warmer climates after retiring.  For the 4th year in a row, the Northeast saw a concentration of high outbound activity. Oregon has held the top spot of “high Inbound” states for three years followed by our very own South Carolina.

Volunteers In Medicine 2016

Charter One Realty, the top producing real estate company on Hilton Head Island and throughout the surrounding Lowcountry, is proud to have donated $30,000 over the past two years to Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) Hilton Head. The $30,000 donation was used to help VIM orchestrate the organization’s three largest and most important fundraisers each year, with Charter One Realty serving as the Diamond Presenting Sponsor for all three events, and VIM’s top corporate donor.
