The 23rd VanLandingham Rotary Auction will be held this February 26th, from noon until 3:00 pm. It is a televised internet auction where you can also call into the site and make your bid on nearly 400 items that have been gathered from the Hilton Head Island and Bluffton area. Proceeds will benefit The Sandbox and The First Tee program at the Boys and Girls Club.
The Sandbox is a children’s museum on Pope Avenue that offers interactive educational opportunities to children with their parents. The Sandbox is scheduled to move to a new complex on Coligny Circle once the building is complete in 2018.
The First Tee is a national youth development program for underprivileged children which teaches them golf skills along with respect and integrity that accompany the game.
