About Kris
If Kris’s vast career in the home building/legal/marketing industry has taught her anything, it’s not that she’s #1, YOU ARE! That’s why ensuring the needs and expectations of her clients are not only met, but exceeded, is her #1 goal. Starting out early as a legal secretary at a real estate law firm in Chicago, then going on to work for various Fortune 500 and top-notch marketing companies, Kris and her husband eventually started their own electrical contracting company back in Chicago, employing over 100 union electricians, installing electrical systems in hundreds of homes per year. Then, shortly after helping to create and launch a computer software program, catering to contractors in the home building industry, Kris and her family were finally able to realize their dream of being able to live anywhere in the world. Their love for nature, serene marshes, lush surroundings, majestic oaks, great weather, glorious sea life, as well as the good old-fashioned Lowcountry style and values of the people of the south, are what led them to the greater Hilton Head-Bluffton area, where she immediately fell in love and sought to become a real estate advisor to help others realize and achieve their dreams!
Why Kris
Known for her professionalism, negotiating skills, great energy, and extreme attention to detail, Kris brings these same talents to her clientele, who are always her #1 Priority. Leveraging her experience and expertise as a successful business owner, Kris is constantly analyzing current market conditions and utilizing statistics to determine the optimum time to purchase/sell a property for the maximum financial benefit for each individual client. She doesn’t believe in leaving money on the table and will fight hard to ensure that any financial gains to be had are in her client’s favor and best interest. Kris is a member of the Hilton Head MLS and the Hilton Head Association of Realtors (HHAOR), as well as holding status as an “Island Ambassador”. She is constantly working to educate herself by attending meetings and seminars to ensure that she always stays on top of and ahead of market trends.
Giving Back
Being a firm believer in giving back, and particularly passionate about animal rescue, Kris promises that for every home bought or sold, she will donate a portion of her commission to help food, shelter and/or pay adoption fees, to ensure that a lost, abused or abandoned pet can find one day find their “furr-ever” home, too! In the past, Kris served as the Chairman of Fundraising for United Way for a division of Sara Lee Corporation in Chicago.
Free Time
When not working hard for you, Kris enjoys shopping, boating, kickboxing, biking, spending time with friends and family, as well as snuggling with her cute little Yorkie, “Peyton”.
