HarbourFest
Enjoy live music and family fun at the summer long festival known as HarbourFest. A favorite among locals and visitors, HarbourFest runs every week night at 6pm and features fireworks every Tuesday night.

Catch Me If You Can: The Musical
Based on a true story (and the 2002 film starring Tom Hanks & Leonardo Dicaprio), this musical tells the story of teenage con-man Frank Abagnale Jr. and his first-class exploits that land him on the FBI’s most wanted list. The musical takes the audience around the world as Frank Jr. outsmarts the FBI and maintains his A-list life posing as one of society’s elites.

Million Dollar Quartet

Hilton Head Firecracker Run
Over 1,600 runners and walkers will gather on July 4th at 8:00am at the Shelter Cove Community Park & Shelter Cove Towne Center for the 31st Annual Hilton Head Firecracker Run. An Independence Day tradition, the Firecracker Run is the largest and oldest road race in Beaufort County and one of the top ten races in South Carolina. Participants range from under 8 to over 80 and include many family groups with 15 to 20 family members participating. Fun for the entire family, the fast and flat course runs through Shelter Cove past Broad Creek and finishes at Shelter Cove Community Park. Post race celebration includes live music, a children’s fun run, refreshment, vendors, door prizes and more.

Fourth of July Picnic
Celebrate this Independence Day with the unity of Central Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church and Grace Community Church with a free Fourth of July picnic at historic Honey Horn on Hilton Head Island, SC. The event starts at 11am and includes fun for the entire family with bounce houses, a dunk tank, live music, great food and fellowship. Chairs are encouraged but no pets, please.

Annual Skull Creek 4th of July Celebration
Skull Creek hosts its 32nd Annual Fourth of July Celebration with a waterfront fireworks show. This family friendly event takes place at Hudson’s Seafood House on the Docks where you’ll find live music, great food and family fun. The fireworks show begins at 9:30pm from a barge set along the Intracoastal Waterway near Hudson’s and Skull Creek Boathouse. Free parking and a shuttle service is available from 6-10pm from the Boys & Girls Club on Gum Tree Road to the parking lot of Hudson’s.

4th of July Parade in Harbour Town
Dress in your red, white and blue and watch the fireworks under Hilton Head Island’s iconic Harbour Town Lighthouse. But it’s not just about the fireworks. This is a full day of scheduled Fourth of July fun and activities including a family friendly/pet friendly parade around the marina. Meet at the parking lot adjacent to the Harbour Town Lighthouse at 8:30am to register and pick up supplies for the parade which starts at 9:30am. After the entries are judged and a winner chosen, stay in the harbour for lunch or bike to the beach but be sure to come back for dinner, live music and a stunning waterfront fireworks show in the evening.

4th of July Celebration and HarbourFest at Shelter Cove Marina
Shelter Cove Marina is another fantastic place to catch the fireworks this 4th of July on Hilton Head Island, SC. Come early to save your seat for the Shannon Tanner family friendly entertainment show or to grab a bite to eat before the fun. Cappy the Clown, face painting, carnival games, and treats from vendors are just a few of the activities before the grand finale of fireworks over the harbour.

This 9-week event will be held every Tuesday from June 14th through August 9th from 4:30-7pm. The market will feature vendors selling local farm-fresh produce, art work, sweets, baked goods and other specialty foods. SOBA Gallery presents “Local Color” Paintings by Lauren Terrett
The SOBA Gallery in downtown Bluffton welcomes Lauren Terrett as a featured artist from July 5th through July 31st . Lauren’s work is inspired by the vibrant and lush lowcountry settings. Her work is intuitive and impressionistic including the use of thick paint, texturing, charcoal lines and vivid colors that set her paintings apart. A reception will be held in her honor on Friday July 8th from 5-7pm at the SOBA gallery.

2016 Hilton Head Jazz Camp
Recommended for ages 14-20, the 2016 Hilton Head Jazz Camp is a full day camp held from July 11-16, 2016 from 9am-4pm. A combination of large big bands, small combos, theory, improve, elective courses, master classes and performances will be taught by 14 full-time professionals. The camp is geared towards intermediate to advanced middle and high school students.

Bluffton Sunset Party
The 2016 Bluffton Sunset Party Series is a summer party series held at the Bluffton Oyster Factory Park. It’s a family friendly sundown celebration with live music on the May River, local food, vendors and drinks. This Sunset Party will feature an arts & craft village, fresh local seafood from area restaurants and live music both nights. Tickets are only $5 and children 12 and under are free. A percentage of the proceeds from each event will go to benefit local Bluffton Charities.

Summer Concert Series on The Bluff
Listen to the music Southern favorite, The Colby Deitz Band, under the stars on the Village Green at Palmetto Bluff. This eclectic band offers a perfect blend of authentic country music blended with the front porch of Southern Appalachia. Gates open at 5pm and the concert starts at 6:30pm. $25 per car at the gate of Palmetto Bluff. Proceeds benefit Family Promise of Beaufort County, whose mission is to provide temporary shelter, family stability, and permanent housing solutions for the homeless families with children.
