Craig Lovette earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Accounting from the University of North Carolina. He shortly after passed the CPA exam while working with a public accounting firm in Durham, NC. He went from there to private accounting with an international company, ABB, maintaining different positions from division operations to corporate offices. Duties included P&L management, buying and selling companies, and international financial reporting. Later, he joined a national builder. Titles held included Controller, Operations Manager, Land Acquisition Manager, and Division President. During this timeframe, he helped purchase and develop land to build over 8,000 homes mostly in the Beaufort, Savannah, and Charleston markets. In 2011, he started a homebuilding operation in the Hilton Head Lakes community. His responsibilities included Home Building, Land Development, Golf Course Operations as well as the Water Company operations which supplied the community and golf course with reused water for irrigation. In 2021, this company was sold to a national builder. Craig's background allows him to understand not only Seller's expectations but the Buyer's needs and requirements as well. He is able to help you with due diligence, land use, negotiations, and market analysis.
