Joe McNamara is committed to serving others. He is a former combat decorated U.S. Marine Corps Infantry Officer, a business leader, and a Partner of the Lowcountry’s top real estate firm, Charter One Realty. Joe’s professional journey began at Virginia Tech, and upon graduation, he developed through the U.S. Marine Corps’ officer development programs. During his service, Joe led elite teams through multiple combat deployments to Afghanistan, and was then selected to command and lead Marine Corps drill instructors at the notorious Marine Corps boot camp at Parris Island, SC.
Upon leaving active service, Joe earned an MBA from the University of North Carolina and joined one of the nation’s leading real estate development firms. While there, he built and managed an award-winning real estate sales organization that was focused on luxury custom homes and the new construction customer experience in master-planned communities. The success of that organization ultimately led to a new partnership with Charter One Realty.
Through the lessons learned from his time as a military and business leader, Joe has built a reputation of professionalism and honesty. He leverages those experiences to deliver a committed approach to the buyers and sellers he serves throughout the Bluffton and Savannah area.
Additionally, Joe is a Member of the Board of Directors for Operation Patriots FOB, a veteran-owned non-profit dedicated to creating and fostering positive experiences for our Nation’s Combat Veterans in the Lowcountry.
