I have been involved in many real estate transactions in my life and have dealt with many realtors over the years. I have to take the time to write this review (I haven’t in the past) because of how terrific Alec [Smith] was from the start to the finish and even the follow up. His local knowledge of waterfront property is impressive to say the least. He got a premium for my home on waterfront and I attribute that to his expertise. I found Alec Smith long before I moved to South Carolina. A friend in Maine had moved here and raved about it so I started checking it out and I found Alec. He educated me so much about the area, sending me maps, homes to look at, phone calls offering ups and downs of different areas, but most importantly, he wanted to know what I was looking for so he could help me "check off all the boxes". In May of 2022 I finally made the move here from Maine and began officially working with Alec to find a home. Because he listened intently to what I was looking for, it didn't take long to find my dream home in Battery Point with fabulous amenities.
