Christina Rickey

Christina Rickey, originally from Cleveland Ohio, launched her real estate career in 1990 after relocating to Atlanta, Georgia.   While in Atlanta, she worked in various new home communities as an on-site agent, including Windward and the renowned Golf Club of Georgia.  In 2001, she moved to Birmingham, Alabama, where she obtained her Associate Broker license and continued to grow her real estate expertise.  While in Birmingham, Christina founded the Transition Advisor Team, specializing in helping seniors navigate important housing transitions. 

Drawn by the area’s natural beauty, pristine beaches, relaxing lifestyle, and the presence of family, Christina always knew she would one day call the Lowcountry home.  This dream became a reality in 2021.  She proudly associated with Charter One Realty and The John Weber Team.  Whether it’s a luxury gated community, a 55-plus lifestyle neighborhood, or something in between, Christina continues to provide guidance to help clients find the place that feels like home.

Throughout Christina’s career, she has invested in advanced real estate education, earning several prestigious designations including Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), and holds the prestigious Guild Designation from the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, recognizing her proven expertise and success in assisting both buyers and sellers in the luxury home market.

Christina especially enjoys working with people 55 and over, ensuring their best interests are always protected and represented with integrity.  She wants them to have the opportunity to make the best housing choices that meet their lifestyle and financial needs.  She is knowledgeable of the active adult communities in the Lowcountry, including Sun City, Latitude Margaritaville, and Four Seasons at Carolina Oaks.  In fact, Christina lives in one of these communities.  On a personal note, Christina is married to her best friend for 52 years, is the mother of three, Grammy to six, and the fur parent to a sweet Maltipoo dog named Buffy.  Christina looks forward to getting acquainted with you and becoming your Lowcountry real estate specialist and friend.
