Tom Reed

Born and raised in middle Tennessee, Tom Reed is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law. Upon graduation, he moved to Hilton Head Island and joined one of the Island’s premier law firms quickly becoming the firm’s head real estate attorney. In 2000, he left the practice of law and became a partner with the The Reed Team here in Charter One Realty. In 2014, he became a partner in Charter One Realty and the company’s President and Broker-in-Charge shortly thereafter. Every year, he and his partners in The Reed Team consistently rank in the top 1% for real estate sales production in the area and, every year, the Charter One Realty company ranks as the top producing real estate company in the area.

Tom is also the Chairman of the Board for Osprey Village which is a non-profit organization with a mission to develop a “neighborhood with a purpose” to support adults with special needs so they can live as independently as possible in an inclusive, intergenerational community near their friends and family. Additionally, he served on the board of the Hilton Head Island Multiple Listing Service and helped it transition to REsides Multiple Listing Service where he continues to serve on the board. His professional affiliations include membership in the Florida Bar, South Carolina Bar, National Association of Realtors, South Carolina Association of Realtors, Hilton Head Island Area Association of Realtors, REsides MLS, Lowcountry Regional MLS, and Savannah MLC. He has been a licensed attorney since 1996 and a licensed broker since 2000.
