Halloween Events

It’s the spookiest time of year and we don’t know about you, but Halloween is one of our favorite holidays of the year in the Lowcountry. The turning of the season aligns perfectly with trick-or-treating and all of the other fun events we enjoy in the cooling temperatures.

If you are equally excited about 2021 Lowcountry Halloween events, keep reading! We rounded up some ultra-fun events for you to enjoy this season.

Whether you like to indulge in a full-blown monster bash, hours of horrifying haunted houses, or friendly “boos” for the kids, the Lowcountry has a Halloween celebration just for you. 

 

Lowcountry Halloween Events For Kids and Families

Spooky Halloween Party in Beaufort

Perfect for families with young kids, the Spooky Halloween Party at Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park will have crafts, a costume parade, a dance party, and treats! 

Don't miss the fun:

  • When: Saturday, Oct. 30, 10am - 2pm

Trunk-Or-Treat in Bluffton
Put on your best costumes and head to the Tanger Outlets in Hilton Head for a costume contest, easy fun, and lots of tricks and treats!

  • Who:  Children ages 12 and under

  • When:  Saturday, Oct. 30, 12 -2 pm

  • Where:  Tanger Outlets, ​​1414 Fording Island Rd, Bluffton, SC 29910

  • Cost:  Free

Kids Baking Halloweenfest in Bluffton

For kids who love Halloween and thrive in a hands-on experience, be sure to consider the Kids Baking Halloweenfest at Hewitt Oaks! During the all-day event, kids will enjoy playing and learning how to be a chef for the day. They will bake their own dessert and will take some home. Hewitt Oaks makes it easy and provides all of the baking ingredients and tools and a kid-friendly lunch.

  • Who:  Kids ages 8 - 14

  • When:  Saturday, Oct. 30, 9am - 3pm

Fun Hilton Head and Bluffton Halloween Events For Adults

Yelloween Party with Veuve Clicquot - Hilton Head Island, SC
One of the best ways to celebrate National Champagne Day with Halloween spirit is the annual Yelloween Party with Veuve Clicquot!

Know before you go:

  • When:  Friday, Oct. 22, 5-7 pm 

  • Where:  Rollers Wine & Spirits, 9 Palmetto Bay Road, Hilton Head SC 29928

  • Cost: $75 

  • What:  Dress up for the Colorama Costume Contest (prizes for Top 3 best dressed. Match the Veuve “yellow” on the Brut bottle.)

 

Boos & Booze at the Hilton Head Distillery - Hilton Head Island, SC

Adults have two chances to check out the Boos & Booze event, where participants will learn how to make Halloween-themed cocktails. 

  • When:  Thursday, Oct. 21 and Thursday, Oct. 28, 7 pm

  • Cost:  $85/person

Spooky Soirée at Hewitt Oaks - Bluffton, SC

It’s your typical ladies' night out soiree, with a big spooky factor just in time for Halloween! Check out Hewitt Oaks’ Spooky Soirée for an upscale spooky experience, complete with wine and cocktails, charcuterie and hors d'oeuvres, food and desserts, and best of all, plenty of photo opportunities.
