Diana knew much more clearly how to evaluate our house and how to compare and contrast it with other homes on the market than we could have ever imagined. She assisted us in setting the appropriate 'price point', raising our estimate of our home's value by over $100,000 from where we thought it would sell. Then through enrolling a professional photographer, she utilized the full and capable services of Charter One Realty in putting together a great portfolio of pictures and information to advertise our house not only to the local market but the world at large. She gave us repeated opportunities for input so that we felt we were a part of the overall team working with one goal in mind...Getting the most money for our house in the most professional way possible.
Once the house was on the market, Diana worked with other realtors in scheduling times for potential buyers to come to see the house. And most importantly, EVERY TIME she, or any other realtor, brought people to our house, she arrived early to help 'stage the viewing'. She opened doors, turned on lights, set mood music and videos on the TV, and made sure the house would present itself beautifully. There is absolutely no question in my mind that her activities and professionalism with potential buyers and outside realtors added thousands of dollars of marketing value to our house.
Once we had offers from potential buyers she guided us in evaluating the offers. She knew exactly how to communicate with the buyer's agent in formalizing the acceptance of the offer. Her work continued with coordinating the Home Inspection process with the buyers and their agent. Then she helped us select the best and most professional repair team to assure that we got all of the inspections and remedies done in a timely manner.
At the right time, she guided us in selecting a Closing Attorney that she knew and trusted to handle the final legal aspects of closing the sale.
We made a wonderful decision in selecting Diana Sroufe to be our Real Estate Agent, and that decision led us to sell our home at the highest price ANY home in our very large community had ever sold for!
