Hilton Head Island Seafood Fest

This week long fest showcases talented local chefs and local seafood incorporating special events, live music and more.

Lowcountry Seafood Experience – Monday, February 29th through March 5, 2016 – Join some of the Lowcountry’s watermen on an excursion that includes shrimping, oystering clamming and crabbing. After the work is done, guests will enjoy the fruits of their labor.

All About the Estuary – March 2, 2016 @ Honey Horn – An educational series presented by artist, naturalist and curator of the Lowcountry Estuarium, Bob Bender.

Oyster Roast & Pig Picking – March 4, 2016 – 5:30pm – Honey Horn Plantation – Some of the Island’s best chefs prepare roasted oysters, whole hogs and chopped BBQ with all the trimmings.

The Hilton Head Island Seafood Fest – March 5, 2016 – 11:00am-5:00pm – Shelter Cove Community Park – this family friends event offers tastings of seafood specialties, kid zone, silent auction, famous crab races, arts and crafts, and more.

The #1 Women’s Collegiate event in the country held at Long Cove Club.  Long Cove Club in partnership with Darius Rucker and the University of South Carolina host the 5th annual Darius Rucker Intercollegiate Golf Tournament.

Budweiser Clydesdale Parade

The world- famous Budweiser Clydesdales are returning to Old Town Bluffton for the Clydesdale Parade and the sixth anniversary of the Old Town Dispensary. The horses are expected to arrive at 2 p.m. The staging area will be along Calhoun Street between Lawton and Lawrence streets. It will take a little more than an hour to prepare the animals for the parade once they arrive. The parade will proceed down Calhoun Street, across May River Road, around the Calhoun Street Promenade and then return to their starting position on Calhoun Street. After the parade, the Clydesdales will remain on display until 7 p.m.
