Take a look at our guide; we know you will love it!

Skull Creek Fireworks

Head on down to Hudson’s Seafood House on the Docks, Skull Creek Boathouse or Skull Creek Dockside and watch some of the best Hilton Head fireworks launched from a barge anchored right in the Intracoastal!

When: Fireworks begin at 9:30 PM

Where: Skull Creek/Intracoastal

What: Enjoy live entertainment starting at 6 PM plus some of the best food on Hilton Head Island available from all three locations throughout the evening. The organizers ask that you do not bring your own coolers to this event.

Shelter Cove Fireworks

What’s better than HarbourFest? Well, we’re having a hard time coming up with an answer! Enjoy the Shelter Cove fireworks display and much more this July 4th.

When: Fireworks begin at dusk

Where: Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina

What: The fantastic Shannon Tanner performs a selection of patriotic tunes at 6:30 PM and again at 8 PM. Great news for folks with homes and villas in Palmetto Dunes: transportation will run late just for you! Enjoy the entire show then hop on the Palmetto Dunes Buggy to get home safely.

Locals know Fireworks serve as the centerpiece for Harbourfest. Can’t make it here on July 4th? This year's 2019 fireworks schedule includes many other dates. Please remember that all fireworks are weather dependent.

  • Tuesday, June 11, 18, 25
  • Thursday, July 4 (no show on Tuesday, July 2nd)
  • Tuesday, July 9, 16, 23, 30
  • Tuesday, August 6, 13, 20

Harbour Town and the Calibogue Sound Fireworks

Our list of the best places to see Hilton Head Island 4th of July fireworks wouldn’t be complete without featuring Harbour Town! Located in Sea Pines Plantation, this iconic spot offers much more than just a fireworks show.

When: Fireworks begin at dusk

Where: Harbour Town

What: This event is open to the public with a $6 gate fee for entry into the Sea Pines Resort. It’s sure to be an evening of July 4th fun! From live music, children’s activities and more, Harbour Town always puts on a great event. The fireworks will be launched from a barge anchored in Calibogue Sound.

Waterfront dining options in Harbour Town include Harbourside Cafe and The Quarterdeck. These Hilton Head Island restaurants offer great food and drinks and probably the best seats for viewing the fireworks in Harbour Town.

Please refrain from bringing in outside food and drink (no coolers).
