Dove Street Festival of Lights

A Hilton Head Island holiday tradition for over 20 years returns to Shelter Cove Towne Centre for the 2016 holiday season! With the blessing of founders (and Dove Street residents!) Paul & Kristi Beckler and Rob Lolik, visitors from across the region can experience the magic of the cascading and tastefully tacky Hilton Head Island Christmas lights display. Park your car, stroll through the lights, and ice skate in the park, all while enjoying nightly entertainment, shopping, dining and much more!

Harbour Town Lights

Taste of the Season

Kick off the season with Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce’s Taste of the Season. Held at the Marriott Resort & Spa, this event is the culinary event of the year hosting more than 35 restaurants with their signature plates. The Taste of the Season celebrates the area’s top chefs with menu items including seafood dishes, southern food, and creative concoctions.

Comedy Magic Cabaret

Kerry Pollock’s Original and Only “Funny Not Filthy” Comedy Venue opens in their new location!  World Class Stand-up Comedy and Variety Headliners as seen in Las Vegas, Hollywood, and National TV.   The Comedy Magic Cabaret is located in South Island Square at 843 William Hilton Pkwy, Hilton Head Island, SC  29928.   The new venue features an upscale cabaret-style showroom, ground level, ADA accessible, and plenty of convenient parking.  Shows will bel held nightly at 8:00 PM where teens are welcome with their families. Christmas Belles

Farmers Market of Bluffton

Every Thursday,  Downtown Bluffton is host to the Bluffton Farmers Market with fresh, local produce (organic & traditional), plants, nuts, herbs, flowers, honey, cheese, milk, eggs, beef, pork, lamb, and seafood. Specialty items like kettle corn, spices, coffee, loose tea blends, smoothie boosters, cookies, treats, jams, salsa, dips, chutneys, sweets, chocolates, granolas, sprout bread, freshly baked goods & pastries, fresh pasta & sauces can be found throughout the market.

SOBA Gallery Presents Featured Artist Joan Moreau McKeever

The SOBA Gallery is happy to introduce Joan Moreau McKeever as the Featured Artist with her show entitled “From Maui to Maine and Back to the Lowcountry.”

As you might expect the body of work is a range of scenes inspired by Joan’s travels, painted with skill and attention to detail. You can almost smell the salt air viewing her coastal landscapes and the scent of Plumeria in a gorgeous floral scene.

Town of Bluffton Weekend of Lights

You are cordially invited to the 2016 Bluffton Tree Lighting Ceremony. The ceremony will begin at 5:00pm at Bluffton Town Hall (20 Bridge Street) on Friday, December 2nd.

On Saturday, December 3rd will be the Annual Town of Bluffton Christmas Parade.  The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. Streets will begin closing at 8:00 a.m.

Lowcountry Holiday Market and Festival

The Boys & Girls Club of Jasper County presents a unique, family-friendly holiday event, which will offer something for everyone. Hosted by the Blue Heron Nature Center in Ridgeland, this event will take place on December 3rd.

Admission to the event is free. The kids will enjoy bounce houses, train rides, cookie decorating, a visit with Santa and much more. Christmas music will be performed by the Nautical Wheelers and “A Christmas Story” performed by the Columbia Marionette Theater. The day will also include a bake sale, pet holiday costume contest as well as local artisans and vendors selling holiday treasures and treats. There will be an additional charge for food, some activities, and vendor goods.

Hilton Head Choral Society’s “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” Concert

The Sounds of Christmas will fill the sanctuary at the First Presbyterian Church on December 9th from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This concert has become an Island holiday tradition with musical treats for audience members of all ages. Filled with the sentiment and spirit of the season, this concert features a musical sleigh overflowing with traditional holiday tunes and carols, presented in new and interesting ways. Olli’s Lowcountry Community Concert Band Offers Veterans Day Salute

Conducted by Benny Ferguson and David Hershey, the program will feature music to honor all veterans, including a medley of “Anchors Away”, “The Caisson Song”, “Semper Paratus”, the Marines’ Hymn and “The U.S. Air Force”.  Several stirring marches will be performed including “Americans We” by Henry Fillmore, “The Washington Post” by John Philip Sousa and “National Emblem” by E. E. Bagley.

Holiday Fun in Harbour Town
