Happening this month in Beaufort, SC

Beaufort Night on the Town

Friday, December 1st. This long-standing tradition kicks off the Christmas and holiday shopping season on the first weekend of December. Beaufort Night on the Town offers surprises around every corner with shops open late, carolers, tasty treats, and holiday cheer. Highlights include the tree lighting ceremony, Parris Island Marine Corps Band performances, visits with Santa, and getting a head start on unique holiday gifts from local businesses. It's an evening filled with entertainment to delight all ages.

Light Up the Night Holiday Boat Parade

Saturday, December 2nd. Bring your family and friends down to the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park for the Beaufort Lighted Boat Parade. Local boat owners will deck out their vessels with beautiful Christmas lights and decorations for a nautical display along the downtown riverfront. There will be three passes to see the glittering procession of boats.

Downtown Christmas Parade

Sunday, December 3rd. Cap off the "Holiday Weekend" by welcoming Santa as he leads a festive downtown Christmas parade. This seasonal tradition is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the spirit of the holidays with your community

Wreaths Across America Beaufort Remembrance Wreath Ceremony

On December 16th, join the Wreaths Across America event at the Beaufort National Cemetery. The day starts with a brief ceremony at noon followed by volunteers placing remembrance wreaths at veterans’ graves in honor of their service and sacrifice. Welcome the special escort and wreath-filled trailers and be part of this meaningful community celebration.

Santa Visits Downtown Beaufort

Get in the holiday spirit with Santa visits in charming downtown Beaufort starting November 26th outside the Beaufort Candy Shoppe. See Santa on November 26th, December 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 23rd from 3-7pm ready to spread joy and holiday cheer. Make magical memories with your family during Downtown Beaufort's "A Magical Beaufort Christmas" event.

Holiday Lights & Tree at Shelter Cove Town Center

Deck the Hulls Christmas Boat Parade

See festively decorated boats parade along the Intracoastal Waterway on December 9th starting at 6pm. Prime viewing at Skull Creek Dockside, Shull Creek Boathouse, and more.

Hilton Head Choral Society's "Light & Lighter" Holiday Concert

Get your dose of holiday music at this concert on December 15th at 7pm at First Presbyterian Church featuring the Rushingbrook Children's Choir.

Jingle bell run through Cross Island Parkway on December 24th with both 5K and 10K options benefiting local charities.

52nd Annual Bluffton Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting

Bluffton kicks off the holidays with their Christmas parade on December 2nd at 10am and tree lighting ceremony the evening before on December 1st at Martin Family Park.

Happening This Month in Savannah, GA

Savannah Christmas Market

Shop at this charming outdoor German-style Christmas market through January 1st at Plant Riverside District with live entertainment, photos with Santa, and holiday foods/drinks.

Lighted Christmas Parade
