Stephen Moscowitz Presents “Birds and Other Stuff”

The talented artist, Stephen Moscowitz, welcomes you to his lovely exhibit featuring his acrylic paintings on wildlife, still life, and real life. He captivates his inspiration through the birds and landscapes of the beautiful Lowcountry. You will get a chance to meet this spectacular artist at his opening reception Friday, July 7th at the gallery.

Mamma Mia!

Revel in some of your favorites like “Dancing Queens” and “Knowing Me, Knowing You” as you enjoy the classic MAMMA MIA! at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina. Gregg Russell Concerts

A staple of Hilton Head, Gregg Russell gives complimentary concerts under the Liberty Oak at Harbour Town of Sea Pines. Summer Jams

The Island Recreation Association hosts Summer Jams every Tuesday of the summer starting at 5 P.M. and closing with fireworks at 9 P.M. Activities include bungee jumping, bounce houses, rock climbing, and face painting (with a small fee). It’s a great environment for the whole family. You are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and relax.

Crab Races at Marley’s Island Grille

Beach Yoga

Grab a beach towel and head to the Sea Pines Beach Club for some morning yoga. Every Monday and Wednesday now through August 30 you can practice from 8-9 A.M. with the ocean as your backdrop. Classes are $13 per adult and reservations are required. Meet the instructor out on the beach behind the Beach Club.

Fresh Water Fishing

Fish in the lakes of the Sea Pines Forest Preserve any Monday, Wednesday or Friday through September 11th (9-10:30 A.M.). No supplies or experience needed. Discover the beauty and wildlife of the area. You must make a reservation to attend and a catch and release policy is in place.

Exploring History

Any Thursday through December 28th , stroll through the Farmers Market of Bluffton from 1-6 P.M. Movie in the Park

Every Thursday night enjoy some of your favorite summer, feel-good movies. The Shelter Cove Community Park hosts movie nights at 9 P.M. free of cost. The lineup is Overboard (July 6), Bug’s Life (July 13), Princess Diaries (July 20), Tarzan (July 27), Herbie Rides Again (Aug. 3), Pocahontas (Aug. 10), and Flight of the Navigator (Aug. 17). The movies run rain or shine and you are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, and food.

Art League Of Hilton Head 5 O’ Clock Somewhere Art Exhibit Opening Reception

May River Shrimp Festival- Bluffton Sunset Party

Join this amazing two day celebration on the May River! Thursday’s event includes a Water and Sport Adventure Expo including a variety of local vendors. Friday’s event Arts and Crafts Vendors Village along with live local music performed by bands, Two Guys from OCD and The Horan Brothers Band. Friday’s event will begin at 4:00 P.M. instead of 5. Little Women, The Broadway Musical

The May River Theatre Co. Inc. is performing Little Women, the Broadway Musical based on the novel by Louisa May Alcott. The show runs at the Ulmer Auditorium-Bluffton Town Hall from Friday, July 21st-Sunday, August 6th, with show times at 8 P.M. on Fri/Sat. and 3 P.M. on Sundays. Young Frankenstein, A Musical Comedy

The Southeastern Summer Theatre Institute is performing Young Frankenstein from Sunday, July 30th-Saturday, August 5th. The show, put on by the elite program for high school students, is Mel Brooks’ adaptation of his classic film.
