Shopping season is about to move into full swing, and we are all about shopping local. If you want to support the community during your Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday shopping, read on to learn about Lowcountry stores with Black Friday sales.
This holiday season, it is important to look past the big box stores and shop local when you can. We’re sharing our favorite places to shop for home items, gifts for friends and loved ones and colleagues.
If you like to shop in person, consider picking up gift cards at your local coffee shop and/or favorite restaurants while you’re out and about. If you prefer to shop online, great! Nearly all of our local shops, restaurants and service providers offer online shopping now.
Typically, the deals continue through Cyber Monday, so if you’re busy with family and friends during the holiday, you will have plenty of time to shop until you drop.

Mameem & Maudie Crabby’s Corner
Bluffton has some of the cutest downtown shopping! Mameem & Maudie “a little bit of everything” is the shop’s slogan and we love it. There is an outdoor space for ice cream and treats and the Beaufort Retail shop has clothing, jewelry, accessories, and gifts for adults and kids alike.
The Storybook Shoppe
Historic Downtown Bluffton lends its charm to the local children’s bookshop, The Storybook Shoppe. The staff will offer their recommendations when you provide a few facts about your gift recipient! If you can’t make it in, they’ll help you virtually and even offer to ship for a flat rate.
Like most Bluffton shops, offering online ordering means even your out-of-town family and friends can enjoy The Storybook Shoppe’s charm!
