Drive-through Light Display

This weekend, one of the best Lowcountry holiday events begins, the Historic Mitchelville Park’s Season’s Greetings from Around the World Light Display! Get ready to ooo and ahhh over twinkling lights and seasonal cooler weather. Gosh, it’s cold out there isn’t it? Bundle up and bring the festive cheer with you in your travel mug - how about hot chocolate, cinnamon-spice tea, or apple cider? Meander along the drive-through light show with the holiday tunes turned up. The international lighting decoration celebration is sure to spread so much holiday cheer in the Lowcountry.

Hanukkah “Parade” and Menorah Lighting

The Chabad of Greater Hilton Head has planned a covid-friendly public menorah lighting and will even be live-streaming it to ensure safety measures are in place. Don’t miss out on the fun of years past - the parade is still happening - just in a new way!

Join the “Car Menorah Parade” and travel together from Bluffton’s Tanger Outlets 2 to Shelter Cove Towne Center on Hilton Head Island. The 9-foot menorah will be lit ceremoniously at 5PM.

  • Where: Car line up located at Tanger Outlets 2 at 4:30 PM

  • When: December 13th

  • Free admission and family-friendly

  • Drive-through style

  • Bring your gelt and Hanukkah gear - it’s time to get lit!

Reverse Christmas Parade

The annual Bluffton Christmas Parade is going in reverse this year! Rather than gathering along the roads, spectators will be the ones who do the driving while the parade itself sits stationary. Get ready to ride by the parade entrants as your family enjoys holiday music, decorated Christmas floats, and festive fun from a safe distance. There will not be any tossed beads or candy from your favorite locals this year, so bring your own for added fun.

  • Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020, May River Road, 10am - 12pm

  • Pack snacks, wear fun holiday gear, even decorate your car or golf cart!

Socially Distanced Santa Visit

Starting on Saturday, Dec. 5, visit the Shelter Cove Towne Centre for holiday cheer and a socially distanced Santa visit! Elves will help keep everyone socially distanced and visitors can use their own phones and cameras for photos with Santa. Make the visit a family affair and bring your pets too!

  • Where: Shelter Cove Towne Centre 40 Shelter Cove Ln, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928
