What Is Music To Your Mouth at Palmetto Bluff?
In a nutshell, MTYM is a week-long event focused on showcasing fine food and drink...Southern Style.
This festival curates only the finest culinary masterminds - over 3 dozen world-class celebrity chefs in fact. Each year they come together to show off their exceptional southern-inspired dishes for our enjoyment!
A smattering of local Bluffton and Hilton Head Island chefs (you know them, you love them) anchor the events, and Palmetto Bluff brings in additional talent from locations like:
New York City
...and of course Savannah and Charleston!
All of the savory and sweet treats prepared by these Chefs are complemented by expert selections from dozens of attending vintners, sommeliers and spirit distributors who come to Palmetto Bluff to attend this week-long event.
Last and certainly not least, while you’re busy feeding your stomach, talented Bluegrass and Country musicians will feed your soul adding ambiance and entertainment to the already stunning Palmetto Bluff location.
What Food Is Featured At Music To Your Mouth 2019?
Guests are treated to exceptionally prepared delights while learning how to prepare some of the dishes themselves!
From poultry to seafood, hams and smokehouse pork to biscuits and pastries, there truly is something for every epicurean. You can even taste southern style Ramen noodles! What’s more, everything is prepared with organic ingredients and farm-fresh produce.
What Can I Drink At Music To Your Mouth?
Well, the list is seemingly endless! Palmetto Bluff welcomes local wines as well as wines from all over the world to enhance your dining experience.
Distillers will also be on hand with fine sipping whiskeys, bourbons and gins as well as specialty local brews.

Friday, November 22, 2019 | 11 AM - 1 PM | Culinary Salon: Mrs. Benton's Biscuits: Learn the secrets of delicious southern biscuit-making from Sharon Benton featuring Benton’s famous ham
Saturday, November 23, 2019 | 8 AM | Hair of the Dog 5k: Racers will receive a t-shirt and be greeted with a Bloody Mary and bagels at the finish line. Or, you can skip the run and just enjoy a little morning sunshine and some "hair of the dog."
Saturday, November 23, 2019 | 11 AM - 3 PM | Culinary Festival: The largest event of the weekend features signature dishes and drinks from renowned chefs, winemakers, brewers, distillers, artisans and more in the heart of Palmetto Bluff’s Wilson Village.
Saturday, November 23, 2019 | 7 - 10 PM | Kiss The Pig: A traditional oyster roast and Southern feast set along the banks of the May River complete with a custom-built oyster pit, hand-crafted furniture and a treehouse with stunning views!
Saturday, November 23, 2019 | 10 - 11:30 PM | The Pig Event: After you’re good and full, stay for the annual surprise concert. Featuring a *secret* nationally lauded musical act, this is always a fun event for the late-night crowd.
- Sunday, November 24, 2019 | 9 - 11 AM | Biscuits & Jam Breakfast: Sit back and stay awhile while enjoying a leisurely breakfast and mimosa, all while gazing out at the May River. It’s the perfect way to end the trip before you head back to drab diet land.

If we had to choose, we’d say Kiss The Pig is one of our favorites in addition to the large main event that started it all, the Culinary Festival!
