RBC Heritage 2017 Volunteers

It’s one of the 42 PGA Tour stops, the biggest events in the state, and one of the largest social events of the year for Lowcountry residents and visitors. The 2017 RBC Heritage was nothing short of fantastic, as the curtain was pulled back showcasing the iconic Harbourtown Lighthouse and the Calibogue Sound. This year’s attendance levels are still being calculated, but roughly 130,000 guests attended last year’s RBC Heritage. Many speculate that the 2017 spectator figures will be even higher. It’s likely that the weather, with sunny skies and temperatures from the mid-70s to 80 degrees, combined with the holiday weekend, contributed to the success of the tournament. Additional factors contributing to the tournament's success include the volunteers and tournament sponsors. These individuals and sponsors are an integral part of the tournament and the Heritage Classic Foundation. A foundation, which has donated 35 million dollars back to the community, supporting students across the Lowcountry.

As in years past, Charter One Realty is proud to sponsor the RBC Heritage through a patron sponsorship. Charter One Realty sales professionals, Enid Anderson, Randy Fix, Sonny Huntley, Mary Williams, and Ron Williams were among the volunteers working behind the scenes and inside the ropes on the course, helping to ensure that the tournament ran smoothly. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who were involved in making this event a success.
