The inventory of homes for sale in Beaufort rose 14% compared to May 2018. This past May, we saw a total of 311 homes in Beaufort enter the market. In May of 2018, 285 Beaufort homes entered the market. Like Bluffton, the increase in inventory levels is likely due to the amount of new construction and developments of micro-communities in Beaufort. Family Friendly Dining on Hilton Head

The inventory of homes for sale on Hilton Head decreased 7.7% compared to May 2018. This past May, we saw a total of 138 Hilton Head homes enter the market. In May of 2018, 153 homes entered the market. Click here to see all real estate for sale on Hilton Head.

Hilton Head Airport

2019 has been an exciting year for the Hilton Head Airport. Not only did it welcome new airlines offering direct flights to five cities, but the airport secured a federal grant for $10 million to expand and "modernize" the terminal. Beaufort County Airports Director, Jon Rembold, made the grant announcement in late May, saying it will be used as an "infrastructure investment," according to the release.

The grant will fund the terminal expansion," specifically targeting increased airline traffic, meeting the needs of a growing number of airline customers while keeping within the historical, geographical and budgetary boundaries of Beaufort County's development plans," Rembold said.
