Rising inflation, soaring home prices, and increased mortgage interest rates have combined to cause a slowdown in the U.S. housing market. To help quell inflation, which reached 8.6% as of the last measure in May, the Federal Reserve raised interest rates by three-quarters of a percentage point in June, the largest interest rate hike since 1994. Higher prices, coupled with 30-year fixed mortgage rates approaching 6%, have exacerbated affordability challenges and rapidly cooled demand, with home sales and mortgage applications falling sharply from a year ago.

For Hilton Head Island-Bluffton areas, the F-16s will be visible at 1:31 p.m., and the C-17 will be visible at 1:48 p.m. Beaufort residents will be able to spot the F-16s at 1:35 p.m., and the C-17 will be visible at 1:54 p.m.

Two Reasons Why Today’s Housing Market Isn’t a Bubble | MyKCM



You may be reading headlines and hearing talk about a potential housing bubble or a crash, but it’s important to understand that the data and expert opinions tell a different story. A recent survey from Pulsenomics asked over one hundred housing market experts and real estate economists if they believe the housing market is in a bubble.
